This is the license agreement for Cybersalt Slideshow, the same one the installer shows, plus how buying and refunds work on this website.
Cybersalt Slideshow (the "Software") is published by Cybersalt Consulting Ltd., British Columbia, Canada ("Cybersalt", "we"). By installing or using the Software you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.
1. Free trial
You may use the Software free of charge for 14 days to decide whether you want to keep it. After the trial the Software keeps working, but it shows a small "Unlicensed copy" notice on screen until a valid license key is entered.
2. Licenses
A license is a one-time purchase. It does not expire and there is no subscription.
- Personal license: one person may install and use the Software on any number of computers that they own or personally use.
- Household license: everyone who lives in one home may install and use the Software on any number of computers in that home.
A license key is for the licensed person or household only. Do not publish, share, sell or give away your key. A license includes every update in the same major version (for example, all 1.x releases).
3. What you may not do
You may not resell, rent or redistribute the Software; remove or alter its notices; or reverse engineer, modify or circumvent its license check, except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction.
4. Your photos and privacy
The Software only reads photos from the folders you choose and does not upload, collect or send your photos or any personal information anywhere. Settings and your license key are stored in the Windows registry on your own computer. How this website handles your information is described in the privacy policy.
5. Buying a license
Prices are in US dollars and are shown on the pricing page. You can pay with PayPal or a credit or debit card. Your account on this website is created when your payment goes through, and your license key is then emailed to you and shown on your My license page.
6. Refunds
If you are not happy with a license you bought, contact us within 30 days of purchase through the support form or at
7. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cybersalt is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from the use of or inability to use the Software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
9. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Nothing in it limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
